Cord is the UK’s foremost Christian charity working exclusively with those affected by violent conflict. Our work as an agent of peace is motivated and inspired by Christian faith and is rooted in Christian values. We work with people and communities of all faiths and creeds, and in our 41 year history we have been loyally supported by churches at home and abroad, through direct giving and prayer. Cord is thankful to the many churches and groups who donate money to support our work, either as a part of your annual giving, or through a particular fundraising activity. Without your help, our vital work with the world’s most marginalised people could not continue. Visiting Your ChurchCord would love to come along to one of your midweek events or Sunday services. This is a great opportunity to hear more about our work, featuring stunning pictures of our current programmes. Midweek events usually give time to explore what’s happening in our projects in more depth, to ask questions, and perhaps engage in some activities. We offer talks on a range of topics to suit all audiences, from men’s breakfasts, to women’s fellowship, lent lunches or youth groups. |
