Workshops

Interactive activities provide excellent experiential learning for students to further develop their understanding of some of the issues faced by people trying to re-build their lives, after suffering years of violent conflict.

For example, a workshop for use in Key Stage 3 or 4 might include describing threatening, potentially violent scenarios, to which students respond:

  • What would you do?
  • Would you confront the aggressors?
  • Would you compromise with them?
  • Would you try to take control of the situation?
  • Would you acquiesce?
