Cord’s Supporter Relations Director Richard Dickson and Programme Manager Mark Atterton faced a Dragon’s Den of potential investors at Coutts Bank on the Strand, London.
Their presentation, one of six made by UK charities, raised over £20,000 for our programme in northern Uganda, notably for the Kitgum Women Beekeepers’ Association. Their award winning honey supports the women, their children and the orphans in their care as they begin to build a new life after twenty years of Africa’s longest civil war.
The duo was given just six minutes to present their case before facing some hard hitting questions. The Cross Pollinate event was organised by the Alvor Charitable Trust. |
