Run the 2012 Virgin London Marathon for Cord

Cord has been allocated a charity place in next year's Virgin London Marathon and we are now taking aplications from runners who would like to raise money for our peacebuilding work in Africa and Asia.

The marathon is a fantastic event raising over £45 million for charities every year and thousands of people line the route every year to cheer runners on.

We are asking our marathon place runner to commit to raising a minimum of £2,000 excluding gift aid and in return you will receive:

•    A sponsorship pack & online fundraising page
•    Fundraising support and advice
•    Training advice from the official Virgin London marathon website
•    An exclusive Cord running vest and t-shirt
•    Updates about the work you are supporting through your race
•    Post-run hospitality and picnic at the finish line
•    Lots of support on the big day!   

Cord has a Just Giving account which makes getting sponsorship online convenient when you set up your own Just Giving page.
